A refrigerated bakery case keeps foods cool for bakeries, buffets, cafeterias, concessions, convenience stores, restaurants, delis and cafes. They showcase products at point of sale and increase impulse purchases. There are two types of refrigerated cases you may want to consider: FORCED AIR These refrigeration systems use fans to circulate cold air throughout the cabinet and are popular for bakery products, prepackaged products and deli meats. However, the moving air may dry out the product you are displaying so products should be sealed. GRAVITY COIL These refrigeration systems use a coil at the top of the cabinet that drops cool air down into the cabinet. This has a less drying effect than Forced Air and is popular for raw meat, seafood, salads and other deli products. Gravity Coil is generally slightly less expensive than Forced Air.
