Commercial Dough Mixers
Bakeries, Pizzerias, or any kitchen that makes bread, pizza, cakes, breads or pastries needs a good dough mixer. There are two types of mixers 1) a planetary or vertical mixer and 2) a spiral mixer.
Planetary - Vertical Mixers are more versatile, and can accommodate a variety of accessories such as a dough hook for kneading dough, mixing paddle and whisk, for beating eggs or whipped cream. The utensil rotates around a fixed bowl.
Spiral Mixer - specifically intended to mix a high volume of dough. The spiral hook rotates within a rotating bowl which creates more torque for dense dough, such as pizza dough. The spiral hook and spinning bowl is gentler on dense dough and creates uniform, well kneaded dough.
